Cisco DOC-CD Locations

I have put together this index of the Cisco DOCumentation Site, aka DOC-CD. Its close to complete, but I think it is thorough. If you can add something more let me know.

Currently this list does not have RSv4 topics, I will add those when I get a chance.

  1. What would be nice is a list of cheats for not just regex commands but protocols, RFC content, and hexadecimal-binary-decimal conversions. I think it was on the Frame Relay or Router autoconfiguration examples.

I know I saw at least the later yesterday on a Document page, and for the protocols, like Ethertypes… I’ve seen at least one or two of those in the documentation pages as well.

  2. Silly question, but how do you get to the Configuration Guides from http://www.cisco.com/cisco/web/psa/default.html?mode=prod ?

    • Hi

To navigate to the ‘Configuration Guide’ or the popular ‘Master Index’ follow these steps.

      For Routers:
Click on ‘Cisco IOS and NX-OS Software’
      Then on ‘Cisco IOS’
Then on ‘Cisco IOS Software Release 12.4 Family’
Then on ‘Cisco IOS Software Releases 12.4 T or Mainline’
Lastly on ‘Configuration Guides’ or ‘Master Index’

      For Switches:
      Click on ‘Switches’
Then on ‘LAN Switches – Access’
Then on ‘Cisco Catalyst 3560 Series Switches’ or 3550
Lastly on ‘Configuration Guides’ or Command Reference’

      • Many thanks!!!!
